What’s On at Al Maryah Island & Festive Highlights 2025

As part of a major waterfront enhancement program, Al Maryah Island will temporarily pause its large-scale public celebrations this year, including Halloween, National Day, Winter Wonderland, New Year’s Eve, and Chinese New Year. The upgrades include expanding its promenades, improving leisure zones, and introducing new attractions.

While this transformation takes place, the island remains vibrant through a calendar of partner-led experiences curated by The Galleria Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, and Rosewood Abu Dhabi. Each destination will host its own end-of-year celebrations, reflecting the island’s spirit of understated sophistication and community.

The Galleria Al Maryah Island

From shopping activations to gourmet experiences, The Galleria continues to be at the centre of the island’s lifestyle offerings. The Spend & Win Promotion runs until 23 November, giving visitors a chance to enjoy rewards while shopping and dining. From 29 October to 9 November, the mall will host Master of Flavours — a culinary celebration featuring chef’s tables, croissant high teas, cupcake workshops, and product launches.

In December, The Galleria honours the season with National Day activities (2–3 December), followed by Winter Wonderland (6–26 December) — a family-friendly experience complete with festive décor, Santa’s Grotto, and winter-inspired entertainment.

Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)

For the city’s business and innovation community, Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) will return from 8–11 December, uniting global financial leaders, investors, and policymakers under one roof. The event underscores ADGM’s role as a world-class hub for forward-thinking dialogue and economic collaboration.

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi

Across the island, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi ushers in the final quarter of the year with themed experiences that blend gastronomy, culture, and celebration. In October, guests can enjoy the Pinktober Afternoon Tea, the Diwali Special Brunch and Afternoon Tea, and the Eclipse relaunch – a new Mexican-inspired concept beginning 10 October.

November introduces a Truffle Menu at Café Milano and vibrant evenings at Eclipse with Ladies’ Night and Taco Thursday. By December, the festive spirit comes alive through National Day teas, Christmas Eve dinners, Christmas Day brunches, and New Year’s Eve celebrations across all signature restaurants.

Rosewood Abu Dhabi

At Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the season’s highlights include the WOK HEI and Yum Cha Brunch at Dai Pai Dong – offering Cantonese dishes with a modern flair – and the Rosewood Brunch at Aqua, set against the waterfront. The Afternoon Tea at Majlis by Pierre Hermé delivers Parisian indulgence, while Tablao Sundays at La Cava pairs live flamenco with tapas and fine wines, adding a touch of Andalusian theatre to the capital’s weekends.
