RAK: Puro Café Returns to Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village

Running from 17 January to 8 February 2026, Puro Café returns with a pop-up at Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village in Ras Al Khaimah.

A Dialogue Between Past and Present

Set amid coral-stone houses, wind towers, and narrow lanes that once formed a thriving coastal settlement, Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village offers a rare sense of continuity in a region defined by progress. It is here that Puro Café stages its return, not as a modern insertion, but as a respectful extension of place.

The pop-up experience blends curated flavours with architectural memory, inviting guests to slow their pace and engage with the surroundings. Afternoons unfold into golden-hour pauses; evenings stretch into candlelit conversations, framed by the classic poetry of the village’s preserved structures.

The Luxury of Restraint

Puro Café’s appeal has always rested on a balance between elevation and approachability, design and warmth. In this heritage setting, that balance feels particularly resonant. The offering is intentionally curated rather than expansive, allowing the experience of place to remain the focal point.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive without an agenda: to sit, observe, and absorb. The pop-up lends itself equally to reflective solo visits, unhurried afternoons with friends, and intimate evening gatherings, moments where the experience lies as much in atmosphere as in what is served.

Operating hours reflect this rhythm:

  • Wednesday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 11:00pm
  • Friday to Sunday: 12:00pm – 11:00pm

Ras Al Khaimah’s Setting

The choice of location is telling. Ras Al Khaimah is a destination in the UAE defined by nature, heritage, and depth rather than spectacle. Puro Café’s return aligns seamlessly with this trajectory, offering a lifestyle experience that privileges meaning over momentum.

For residents and visitors alike, the pop-up presents an opportunity to reconnect with a version of the UAE that predates glass and steel, while still enjoying the comforts and sensibilities of contemporary hospitality.

A Prelude to What’s Next

Guests are encouraged to watch for updates on the reopening of 1484 by Puro and Puro Express at Jebel Jais, destinations that have become synonymous with elevated dining at altitude.

Under the stewardship of Visit Jebel Jais, these experiences form part of a broader narrative, where place where adventure, wellness, culture, and cuisine intersect with intention.
