Proactiv Entertainment in collaboration with Disney Concerts, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, presents ‘Disney+ Live In Concert’ coming to Abu Dhabi this December! From 18-20 December 2026, at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, audiences will experience four celebrated films from Disney+ – Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen, The Lion King, Encanto, and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York – all projected on the big screen and accompanied live by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
An experience curated especially for the UAE, this unique concert series brings together a lifetime of great stories on Disney+ with the power of a live orchestral performance, giving audiences a unique way to experience some of the world’s most beloved films. Each performance pairs the full-length movie on the big screen with the Orchestra performing the iconic scores and songs in perfect synchronization, creating an unforgettable experience for Disney+ fans of all ages.
The anticipated concert series will run over three days, opening on Friday, 18 December with Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto, featuring the global hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and other songs by Academy Award®, Tony® and GRAMMY®-winning songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda. On Saturday, 19 December, audiences can experience two iconic presentations. First, the soaring anthems of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen, featuring the Academy Award®-winning hit song “Let It Go”, followed by the festive and unforgettable adventure of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
The series concludes on Sunday, 20 December with Walt Disney Animation Studios’ original 1994 animated classic The Lion King, bringing to life its timeless story and unforgettable music, including “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata”, with music by Academy Award® and GRAMMY®-winning artists Elton John, Tim Rice, and Hans Zimmer, alongside African vocal and choir arrangements by GRAMMY®-winning South African producer and composer Lebo M.
The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will bring these unforgettable scores and songs to life through a powerful live performance, adding a new dimension to the cinematic experience. Renowned for its versatility and celebrated performances across classical and contemporary repertoire, the orchestra will accompany each film screening live, delivering the emotion, energy and musical magic behind Disney’s most treasured stories, available on Disney+.

‘Disney+ Live In Concert’ will take place at Etihad Arena, Yas Island from 18–20 December 2026, with four performances celebrating four iconic films on Disney+, accompanied by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
