This festive season, The Langham, London is transforming into a playground of joy and nostalgia, inviting guests to rediscover the magic of Christmas with its enchanting new theme: Release Your Inner Child.
Running throughout November and December, the landmark hotel will be recreated into a wonderland of glittering trees, twinkling lights, and childhood memories brought to life through playful experiences, whimsical dining, and a magical partnership with Hamleys, the world’s most famous toy store.

Imagine nostalgic cocktails and festive workshops with family surprises – The Langham’s celebration of the season will bring luxury to the guest experience with pure imagination.
A Season of Nostalgia
Guests entering The Langham this season will be greeted by the scent of mulled spices and the sparkle of fairy lights as the Langham Sleigh Stop comes alive in the hotel lobby. Between 1–26 December, the festive cart will serve mulled wine and mince pies by Executive Pastry Chef Andrew Gravett, creating a moment of warmth and tradition amid the grandeur.
In the spirit of generosity, the KidsOut Giving Tree will return, a warm and heartfelt initiative that allows guests to fulfill a child’s Christmas wish by purchasing a toy or leaving a gift beneath the tree.
At The Wigmore, guests can unwind with a glass of festive punch while indulging in mini board games that evoke the joy of childhood afternoons. Meanwhile, at Artesian, Head Bartender Giulia Cuccurullo reimagines festive indulgence with two bespoke beverages, the Mandarin Bellini with Perrier Jouet Brut and a Coconut cocktail. Each drink comes with a playful twist: roll a 12 on the dice, and your cocktail is complimentary.

Creative Classes and Culinary Delights
For those who love to create, Sauce by The Langham will host festive workshops from November through December. Guests can craft Christmas wreaths with London florist Farima Perry, take part in a wine and cheese masterclass with award-winning sommelier Rémi Cousin, or learn the art of edible gifting, creating homemade treats perfect for holiday hampers.

For younger guests, the Biscuiteers Baking Company returns with its magical gingerbread house decorating workshop, designed for little chefs aged 4–10, mixing creativity, sugar, and storytelling.
In-room, the magic continues with Langham Movie Magic Nights, a nostalgic film experience featuring Christmas classics, a hamper of gourmet treats, and a bottle of Champagne.
The Langham x Hamleys
In partnership with Hamleys, The Langham has created a series of experiences that bring festive joy to both children and adults alike.
Hamleys Festive Afternoon Tea (from 10 November) will take over Palm Court, where children can enjoy patisseries shaped like historic toys alongside the famous Hamleys Bear, while adults savour a refined menu of nostalgic sweets and The Langham’s signature scones.

Between 15–24 December, the Hamleys Grotto returns, a world of wonder where families can meet Santa, play games with his elves, and leave with a gift to remember.
Guests staying in one-bedroom suites and above can elevate their stay with the Hamleys x The Langham Suite Package, which includes exclusive grotto access and personalised in-room festive touches.

The 12 Treats of Christmas
From 13 December, The Langham will unveil The 12 Treats of Christmas, a hotel-wide advent calendar of surprises. Guests may receive spontaneous gifts such as Champagne at breakfast, complimentary spa treatments, or festive keepsakes hidden throughout the property. Every day promises something unexpected, transforming the hotel into a world of daily wonder.
A Festive Season to Remember
“This year’s theme is all about rekindling that spark of wonder – the kind you felt as a child waiting for Christmas morning,” says a spokesperson for The Langham, London. “We want our guests to play, laugh, and celebrate the season through experiences that make them feel part of something magical.”
From mulled wine in the lobby to wreaths, workshops, and wish lists, The Langham’s 2025 Christmas programme merges the nostalgia of childhood with the refinement of timeless hospitality.
