Huawei has unveiled a striking new White edition of the HUAWEI Mate XT ULTIMATE DESIGN, bringing a fresh layer of refinement to the world’s first tri-fold smartphone.
Following the global success of the Mate XT, the new colourway introduces white vegan leather accented with gold detailing, offering a more sculptural and commanding aesthetic. The design is anchored by Huawei’s signature Eonic Curves camera ring, finished with a distinctive folded marble vein pattern, each one created through an intricate process of layering and polishing 80 metallic sheets, ensuring that no two devices are identical.

When fully unfolded, the Mate XT reveals a 10.2-inch display, making it the largest smartphone screen currently available. Thanks to its innovative hinge system that folds both inward and outward, the device seamlessly transitions between single-screen (6.4 inches), dual-screen (7.9 inches), and triple-screen configurations, offering versatility without compromising elegance.
Despite its ultra-slim profile, the Mate XT houses a powerful 5600mAh battery, supporting 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging, positioning it ahead of many flagship devices in both performance and endurance. The Advanced Precision Hinge System, crafted with high-strength steel, ensures durability while maintaining fluid motion across all folding modes.
Photography remains central to the Mate XT experience. The device features a 10-step adjustable physical aperture, offering greater control over light and depth of field, alongside ultra-wide-angle capabilities and a 5.5x optical zoom periscope camera for precision capture across distances.

The White edition of the HUAWEI Mate XT ULTIMATE DESIGN (1TB) will be available for pre-order in the UAE from 29 December, priced at AED 9,999 (down from AED 12,999), with a complimentary foldable keyboard worth AED 499, exclusively via Huawei’s official website.
With this latest release, Huawei continues to blur the lines between technology and collectible design, positioning the Mate XT not just as a device, but as a statement object for modern, design-led living.
