Spring, a season dear to Van Cleef & Arpels, evokes the awakening of flora and fauna in a surge of renewal. Born in 2021, the Lucky Spring collection pays tribute to it with jewelry creations that reflect the Maison’s positive vision of life. This year, Van Cleef & Arpels introduces a new butterfly motif in yellow gold and ornamental stones, accompanied by a new Poetic Complications watch.

The Lucky Spring collection features a ladybug alongside plum blossoms, lily-of-the-valley buds, and delicate foliage, now joined by the butterfly, a motif in the Maison’s heritage since 1906. The new creations in yellow gold include a long necklace, a five-motif bracelet, a clip, a Between the Finger ring, and a pair of earrings. Materials include blue and green agate, lapis lazuli, and white mother-of-pearl, selected for their even color and luminous quality. Each piece is crafted using lost-wax casting, hand-polished, and enhanced with the Maison’s signature double beaded contour.

The butterfly has been a symbol of vitality for the Maison since 1906, appearing in rings, necklaces, watch dials, and clips. Interpreted figuratively or stylized, and often set with Mystery Set enamel, it continues to inspire creations across High Jewelry, Watchmaking, and Extraordinary Objects, including the Two Butterfly collection and Lady Arpels Brise d’Été Poetic Complications watch.
