Chery UAE, represented in the country by AW Rostamani Group, has launched the TIGGO 8 CSH – a model that integrates hybrid superpower, combining the dynamic strength of gasoline performance with the intelligent efficiency of advanced battery technology. The result is an uninterrupted driving range of up to 1,200 km on a full tank and a fully charged battery.
At the core of the TIGGO 8 CSH is Chery Super Hybrid (CSH), a fifth-generation hybrid platform developed through decades of research and technological advancement. Built on the principles of “Super Range, Super Power, and Super Quiet,” the system delivers ultra-low fuel consumption of just 1.9L per 100 km under WLTC standards. By intelligently coordinating electric propulsion with combustion power, CSH ensures seamless performance while enhancing efficiency and reducing noise.
The platform combines a high-efficiency hybrid engine with a stepless Super Hybrid DHT, achieving up to 98.5{68ed13eea30464b7e29e2c383bc283d93f414c8f46d51f1f29d8d544faeeaeb9} mechanical efficiency. It produces 141 hp and 215 Nm of peak torque, while enabling up to 90 km of pure electric driving under suitable conditions. Extensively tested across 30 countries in diverse environments — from extreme heat to high-speed highways — CSH demonstrates durability, efficiency, and advanced hybrid capability.
From a design perspective, the TIGGO 8 CSH makes a strong impression. Signature LED headlights with automatic daytime running lights, a bold diamond grille, full-width LED taillights, and striking 19-inch alloy wheels define its exterior. Sculpted side lines enhance its refined yet dynamic silhouette, while acoustic glass in the front and rear windows ensures a quieter, more comfortable drive.
Inside, the cabin is designed with both sophistication and comfort in mind. Multi-colour ambient lighting and illuminated pedals create a tailored driving atmosphere, while refined Black and Brown interior options set an elevated tone. The vehicle offers first-class comfort with a 6-way adjustable electric driver’s seat and a 4-way electric front passenger seat, both equipped with memory, heating, and ventilation functions. A panoramic sunroof enhances the sense of space, while the thoughtfully designed interior provides ample room for passengers and cargo alike.
Technology is seamlessly integrated throughout. The cabin features an eight-speaker audio system, along with both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ensuring constant access to music, navigation, and essential applications. A 50W wireless charger keeps devices powered, while key information is displayed on a 15.6-inch central control LCD screen.
Performance is driven by a sophisticated hybrid system paired with a 1.5TGDI engine and an advanced 3-speed Hybrid Transmission (3DHT). The TIGGO 8 CSH accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds and offers multiple driving modes — ECO, NORMAL, and SPORT — allowing drivers to adapt effortlessly to both city streets and open highways.
Aligned with Chery’s “safety first” philosophy, the vehicle is equipped with up to eight airbags and a 540° HD panoramic camera, ensuring full visibility with no blind spots. A comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems further enhances safety, including Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Adaptive Cruise Control, and Integrated Cruise Assist.
