Halloween gets a British twist this year as Reform Social & Grill, The Lakes’ beloved family gastropub, transforms into a haunted hub of community fun. Between 29 October and 1 November, Reform invites guests to trade skyscrapers for scarecrows and cocktails for cauldrons, serving up a week of entertainment, crafts, and comforting autumn flavours.
From the trivia-loving grown-ups to creative little monsters, there’s something for every ghost, ghoul, and giggle-seeker.
The Line-Up
29 October – The celebrations begin with a Halloween Quiz Night at 7:30 PM, complete with spooky trivia, a few cheeky puns, and plenty of pub spirit. Gather your team, bring your best costume, and prepare for the most entertaining boos in town.
30 October – Movie lovers can settle in for a Movie Eats Night screening of Hocus Pocus at 7:00 PM. A cult favourite for all ages, it’s the perfect pairing of nostalgia and comfort, best enjoyed with Reform’s signature British bites.
31 October – Little witches and wizards take over the garden for a day of creativity. The No-Carve Pumpkin Crafting session hosted by Wildflower House begins at 3:30 PM, followed by Spooky Plates Ghost Arts & Crafts from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Expect laughter, glue, and glitter, and not a single pumpkin casualty.
1 November – The fun continues with Slime Lab’s Halloween Workshop from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, where curious hands and imaginative minds can conjure up their own gooey creations.
The Perfect Family Halloween
Known for its British charm and family-first atmosphere, Reform’s Halloween Week brings the spirit of community back to The Lakes. Guests can enjoy hearty dishes, a warm garden ambience, and just enough fright to keep things festive. Whether you’re in it for the quiz, the crafts, or the comfort food, it’s a celebration that captures the best of both worlds – spooky and social.
