As the temperatures begin to cool and Abu Dhabi’s skies turn softer, Umm Al Emarat Park, the capital’s most beloved green space, welcomes the return of its Winter Season 2025–26, a six-month celebration of wonder, wellness, and culture running from October 2025 to April 2026.
More than a park, Umm Al Emarat has long been a living part of Abu Dhabi’s rhythm, a space where families gather, children learn, and the city slows down to reconnect with nature. This season, its calendar is richer and more intentional than ever.
The Park Market Returns
The heart of the season is the Park Market, a weekend highlight that brings over 60 local vendors together near The Children’s Garden and the Outdoor Cinema. From October 24 to April 4, every Friday and Saturday, visitors can browse handmade crafts, indulge in homegrown bites, and support UAE-based artisans and small businesses.
This year, the market expands with new live entertainment, cultural pop-ups, and a community-driven activation called “Halek” (“Your Solution”), an initiative to raise awareness around postpartum depression and mental health — encouraging honest conversations and compassion in an open-air setting.
Cinema Under the Stars
Few experiences are as charming as watching a movie surrounded by palm trees and laughter. The Cinema in the Park returns on October 17, showing family favourites every Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM until March 31 (except during Ramadan). Bring a picnic, a blanket, and let the night sky do the rest.
Nature, Heritage, and Play
Animal lovers can visit the Animal Barn pop-up, where guests can feed and interact with friendly animals, ride ponies and camels, and learn from the keepers. For the energetic, BOUNCE returns to the park from October through February, bringing its signature freestyle jumping experiences for all ages, including the playful BOUNCE Vibe Tribe sessions.
Visitors can also witness daily Sunset Falcon Shows from October 15, where the traditional Emirati art of falconry unfolds between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The 45-minute display connects spectators to the UAE’s cultural heritage while offering the chance to meet and photograph these majestic birds up close.
Mindfulness in Nature
This year’s wellness programme, in collaboration with Celestial Karisma, focuses on the theme “Nature Meets Mindfulness.” Guests can join weekly yoga sessions, sound healing under the stars, and Full Moon ceremonies designed to nurture gratitude, awareness, and balance.
Learning and Legacy
As a destination that combines education with leisure, the park also continues its school programmes, offering students the chance to explore sustainability, heritage, ecosystems, and the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
For families, the season includes birthday packages with Kidz Factory, splash play zones, and numerous child-friendly workshops that make learning an adventure.
A Season for the Community

“In alignment with the Year of Community, our Winter Season continues to build on the park’s role as Abu Dhabi’s green heart — a space for connection, creativity, and well-being. Every activity, from mindfulness sessions to family markets, is designed to bring people together.”
Entry remains affordable at AED 10 per person, with access to all activities and facilities. The park is open daily from 8:00 AM to midnight (last entry at 11:00 PM).
