This January, Sexy Fish Dubai introduces Cloud Dancer, a colour-led brunch concept that transforms the DIFC icon into a world of softness, light, and curated escapism.

Running from 17 January to 7 February, Cloud Dancer marks the opening chapter of a new monthly brunch series inspired by colour as a mood, a language, and a sensory experience. The debut edition takes its cue from Pantone’s Colour of the Year, embracing white in all its forms, luminous, ethereal, and theatrical.

Colour Becomes the Concept

Known for its rich, maximalist interiors and vibrant energy, Sexy Fish takes an unexpected turn with Cloud Dancer. Each Saturday, the restaurant sheds its signature multicoloured palette in favour of a refined spectrum of whites, creating a striking visual contrast that feels both calming and commanding.

The transformation is deliberate. White here is atmosphere, it reflects light, heightens texture, and allows movement, sound, and detail to take centre stage. The result is a space that feels suspended in time, where brunch unfolds with a sense of ceremony rather than routine.

The White Candy Room: A Visual Centrepiece

At the heart of the experience is the White Candy Room, a sculptural display of monochrome desserts that feels closer to an art installation than a traditional sweet course. Each piece is designed to echo the Cloud Dancer theme.

It is one of the most talked-about elements of the brunch, offering guests a moment of pause amid the energy, and reinforcing Sexy Fish’s reputation for turning dining into spectacle without sacrificing detail.

Cloud Dancer is not designed to be observed from the sidelines. Dancers in flowing white costumes move through the space, while curated visual elements shift subtly throughout the afternoon, blurring the line between performance and environment.

Guests are invited to participate through an all-white dress code, becoming part of the visual narrative themselves. It is a detail that transforms the room, no longer an audience, but a collective tableau, unified by colour and mood.

Adding a playful twist, each table is presented with chocolate bars, one of which discreetly conceals a Golden Ticket. The prize: a Coral Brunch for two at the next Cloud Dancer experience, a small gesture that introduces anticipation and delight into the afternoon.

While Cloud Dancer is undeniably visual, it remains anchored in food, generous and designed for sharing. The brunch unfolds with a spread of sushi, sashimi, salads, and raw bites, followed by signature mains that reflect Sexy Fish’s Japanese-inspired menu.

Dishes include Spicy Beef Tenderloin, Black Cod with Harissa Miso, Salmon Teriyaki, and Chicken Tempura, accompanied by sides such as Kimchi Fried Rice, Crispy Potatoes with yogurt dressing, and Grilled Sweetcorn with citrus butter. The balance is intentional: familiar favourites executed with precision, allowing the experience to feel indulgent without excess.
