This season, Pappas Taverna at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island revives its much-loved Sunday Brunch, inviting guests to return to the simple pleasure of gathering over Mediterranean food done with heart.

Taking place every Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, the brunch is a celebration of the flavours, rituals, and warmth that define Mediterranean dining, welcoming relaxed afternoons on Yas Island.

The experience begins as all good Mediterranean meals do: with bread, mezze, and a sense of anticipation. Artisan breads arrive alongside a colourful Greek mezze selection, setting the tone for a leisurely afternoon ahead. Freshness takes centre stage with dishes such as Lavraki Tuna Tartar with Santorini capers and the classic Greek Village Salad, bright with ripe vegetables and balanced simplicity.

Grand Grill + Live Carving Stations

At the heart of the brunch, Grand Grill and Live Carving Stations bring theatre and aroma into the room. Perfectly marinated beef steak, chicken fileto, and an array of fresh seafood are prepared with confidence, while the centrepiece, a whole spit-roasted lamb.

Signature dishes continue the journey, including a vibrant Seafood Paella that captures the spirit of the coast, rich yet balanced, indulgent yet familiar.

For those seeking elevated comfort, the menu also features standout plates such as Lobster Moussaka, a refined take on the Greek classic, and Feta-Calamari Spirals filled with creamy feta and green pesto, dishes that feel celebratory without excess.

A 24-Carat Gold Sweet Finish

Guests can indulge in golden Loukoumades, drizzled with black honey and finished with 24-carat gold leaf, or the delicate Baklava Mille-Feuille, layered with pistachios and spiced honey cream.
