Aman Reveals Its Global Wellness Programme for 2026 Across Resorts Worldwide

For more than three decades, Aman has been synonymous with a wellness philosophy centred on longevity, spirituality, and the connection between body and mind. Across 20 countries worldwide, the brand’s resorts offer extensive wellness facilities designed to restore balance and lead guests towards a deeper sense of wellbeing.

In 2026, Aman continues to expand this vision with an extensive calendar of wellness initiatives that bring together ancient healing traditions, modern science, and nature-led therapies. From athlete-curated retreats and longevity programmes to spiritual rituals and immersive nature experiences, the coming year will see Aman further deepen its commitment to holistic wellbeing.

The programme also continues Aman’s collaboration with two global sporting icons: tennis champion Maria Sharapova, the brand’s Global Wellness Ambassador, and Novak Djokovic, Aman’s Global Ambassador and Wellness Advisor.

Ambassador-Curated Retreats

At Amanzoe in Greece, guests can begin each day with the Building Mental Resilience programme, a half-day experience curated by Maria Sharapova. Designed to strengthen both physical and mental endurance, the programme combines targeted training sessions with techniques intended to build focus, resilience, and athletic performance.

Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic continues to guide Aman guests through the brand’s Longevity Pathways initiative, beginning with the Detoxification Programme. The programme is now available at seven Aman destinations, including Amanpuri, Amanbagh, Amangiri, Aman Tokyo, Aman New York, Amanyara, and Aman Nai Lert Bangkok.

Rituals of Water

At Amanyara in Turks & Caicos, which celebrates its twentieth anniversary in 2026, wellness experiences focus on bodywork, sports performance, and mindfulness. A new retreat titled Depth of Breathing Discovery will take place from 10–14 June 2026, led by freediving champion Alexey Molchanov and wellness instructor Bea Minguez. The programme explores breath control as a tool to enhance physical performance, mental clarity, and resilience.

Amanyara has also expanded its sports offering with three new padel courts, which will host the first Padel Legends Retreat, a pro-am exhibition event bringing together professional athletes and guests.

Nature-Led Healing

At Amanera in the Dominican Republic, wellness is guided by the shamanic traditions of the Taíno culture. The resort’s new Elemental Body Awareness experience introduces guests to a multisensory journey through the four elements: grounding Pilates inspired by earth, fluid Vinyasa yoga symbolising water, energising breathwork representing fire, and meditative sound healing connected to air.

Until May 2026, guests can also participate in an Ice Bath Recovery Retreat, combining breathwork, meditation, ice immersion, and Watsu therapy to support mobility, relaxation, and mental clarity.

Elsewhere in Asia, Aman’s wellness philosophy draws on longstanding cultural practices. At Amanemu in Japan, the resort’s programme centres on the country’s historic bathing tradition, where mineral-rich onsen waters are used to support circulation and ease muscular tension. The experience is complemented by Watsu aquatic bodywork and Kampo herbal medicine derived from plant-based therapies.

Longevity as a Way of Life

Urban Aman destinations are also expanding their wellness facilities.

At Aman New York, the Aman Spa introduces a new Private Contrast Therapy Suite, combining cold plunges, infrared saunas, and chromotherapy lighting designed to enhance circulation, detoxification, and mental clarity.

In the American desert at Amangiri, a three-night retreat titled Longevity Powered by Nature will take place from 7–10 May 2026. Led by Buddhist monk Geshe Yong Dong, the programme integrates Tibetan Magic Movement, breathwork, mindfulness practices, and spa therapies designed to reconnect guests with nature and promote deep restoration.

Meanwhile in Thailand, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok houses a three-floor Aman Spa & Wellness centre spanning 1,500 square metres. At its heart is the Banya Spa House, the first of its kind in the city, offering a traditional sauna, steam room, hot and cold plunge pools, and dedicated treatment spaces designed for private wellness journeys.

Healing Through Nature

Across Aman’s remote destinations, the brand continues to emphasise nature as a source of restoration.

In Bhutan, Amankora Paro will unveil a new Hammam Spa House, providing a private sanctuary where guests can experience traditional hammam rituals with exfoliating scrubs, aromatic soaps, and massage therapies. The resort will also introduce the Iglu Sauna, a riverside sauna inspired by Scandinavian and Eastern European banya traditions.

In Italy’s Dolomites, Aman Rosa Alpina combines alpine landscapes with wellness therapies such as the Alpine Muscle Relief Massage, which uses locally sourced arnica blended with wildflower and lavender oils to ease muscular tension and promote relaxation.

Ancient Practices and Modern Innovation

In Asia, Aman continues to integrate centuries-old healing traditions into its wellness programmes.

At Amanjiwo in Indonesia, a traditional deep-tissue therapy known as Urut by Dukun Pijat will be introduced, combining stretching techniques, tissue stimulation, and energy work rooted in Javanese healing philosophy.

At Amanfayun in China, a new seasonal wellness series inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine will guide guests through treatments aligned with each season — supporting liver health in spring, nourishing the heart in summer, strengthening lung function in autumn, and focusing on kidney vitality in winter.

In India, Amanbagh introduces an intensive Ayurvedic programme centred on Panchakarma detoxification, a comprehensive healing system designed to eliminate toxins, restore energy, and rebalance the body.

Meanwhile in Sri Lanka, Amangalla continues its Ayurvedic traditions with rituals combining herbal oil massages, facial therapies, and herbal treatments aimed at restoring balance and relaxation.

Aman’s Vision of Wellness

Founded in 1988 with the opening of Amanpuri in Phuket, Aman was built on the idea of creating intimate retreats defined by understated hospitality and a deep connection to place. Today, the brand operates 35 hotels, resorts, and residences across 20 destinations, with several new projects in development.

In recent years, Aman has also expanded beyond hospitality into lifestyle and wellness ventures, including Aman Skincare, Aman Fine Fragrance, Sva supplements, Aman Essentials skincare, and Aman Interiors.

With its 2026 programme, the brand continues to explore how wellness can be experienced across cultures, landscapes, and traditions, from alpine retreats and desert sanctuaries to island spas and urban wellness centres.
